Being proactive about your mental health during the perinatal period is really important and we want to help make that transition even easier. Our goal is to ensure you have the basic tools you need to manage the stresses that come with pregnancy and early motherhood.
This class is offered free of charge through our partnership with the Regina Sexual Assault Centre (RSAC). Their organization is committed to improving maternal mental health supports in the Regina area and are very passionate about women's health. This class is designed to be a general skills workshop and we welcome all new or soon to be mothers to join us!
Our 1-hour workshop focuses on maternal wellness and incorporates mindfulness and self-compassion components to help you attune to your own needs, wants, and feelings.
We will cover the basics of mindfulness and self-compassion. We discuss what it is and how it can be useful during the prenatal stage and as a parent of a newborn
There will be hands-on activities and opportunities for practicing the skills we teach. Our incredible instructors both have a masters level of education and are available to answer any questions that may come up along the way.
Please join us! Take some to connect, learn some new skills and enjoy a fantastic class with some incredible women!
